Scott was born and raised in Novato, California, just outside San Francisco, which is celebrated for its iconic sourdough bread. He began his career as a public speaker, engaging audiences for over 30 years before discovering a passion for sourdough baking. This interest led to the establishment of a thriving DIY bread bakery in Lindon, Utah, where he not only serves handcrafted loaves but also educates aspiring bakers to make sourdough more accessible. Since starting his sourdough journey in 2020, Scott has fostered a community that values quality sourdough bread, bread making and shared learning experiences. Scott is committed to dispelling the myths and misconceptions of Sourdough making and simplifying the entire process for everyone.
